A literature review of 249 COVID-19 articles published between Dec 1st-Feb 6 for research gaps found that there was a lack of randomized controlled trials, cohort studies, and studies on clinical practice.
Additionally, they found that most of the guidance/guidelines developed by the WHO, US, CDC, ECDC and several Chinese Institutions did not fulfill the principles of evidence-based practice.
